This refurbishment project unfolded as a carefully orchestrated transformation, with each step contributing to its ultimate success. It all began with the crucial task of locating and acquiring a Sunseeker Thunderhawke 43 that precisely matched Steven’s vision. Once the perfect vessel was found, it was acquired and transported over 850 miles to the refurbishment base, showcasing the team’s logistical prowess. The next critical phase involved a complete interior and exterior repaint using high-quality Awlgrip marine paints. This not only refreshed the boat’s appearance but also provided a durable protective layer against the rigors of marine life.

The boat’s aesthetics were further elevated with the redesign and reupholstering of both the interior and exterior using marine-grade vinyl. This comprehensive overhaul ensured a luxurious and comfortable onboard experience.

To enhance functionality and modernise the vessel, a suite of electronic upgrades was implemented. This included a cutting-edge audio system with Fusion Audio equipment, strategically placed LED lights for ambiance, and color-changing underwater lights for a captivating effect.

Mechanical enhancements were also a core part of the process. This included fitting a Vetus brushless bow thruster, which greatly improved maneuverability, and supplying and installing a state-of-the-art navigation system to ensure safe and efficient navigation.

Under the hood, a comprehensive engine service was carried out to guarantee reliable performance and minimise the risk of breakdowns during journeys.

Finally, the boat was meticulously protected against marine growth and maintained its performance with the application of fresh antifoul to the hull. The project concluded with the delivery of the transformed vessel to Steven’s chosen marina, ready to provide an unparalleled cruising experience.
